On Thursday 19 January 2023 the Finance, Policy and Resources Committee of Richmond Borough signed off on the additional funding required from the council (alongside additional funding from the Department of Education) to deliver the RTS Sports Building. This is fantastic news for the school and has been long awaited following additional delays due to the pandemic.

Ms Dooley, Head Teacher, is "overjoyed that the new facility will soon be available for our students, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on their learning and development".

Construction will commence this academic year (2023), and it is expected to be completed by the summer of 2024. Please see the plans here.
