- current and previously looked‐after children;
- exceptional family, social or medical need;
- siblings;
- proximity of the child’s home to the school.

Year 7 Appeals – September 2024
National offer day is 01 March 2024.
If, after this date, you have been refused a place for your child at The Richmond upon Thames School you have the right to appeal.
The final date for registering an appeal is 17 April 2024.

Applying for a place at the Richmond upon Thames School ‘in-year’
In-year admissions to secondary schools in the London Borough of Richmond are managed by the Richmond School Admissions.
To apply for an in-year place at the Richmond upon Thames School (RTS), parents/carers can find full details of how to apply and the application process on the Richmond School Admissions website. Parents/Carers should contact their home borough for guidance if they do not live in the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames.
Applications from Richmond's residents will be made on Richmond's Common Application Form, which is available from their website.
