Year 9 GCSE Options Evening 2021
The Year 9 Options process is being launched this week. The Year 9 Choices Guide includes details of all the GCSE subjects we have to offer at RTS and guidance to help your child make informed choices about the subjects he/she will be studying for GCSE.
Online event
On Wednesday 10 February 2021 we will be holding our Year 9 Options evening. Due to current partial school closure, this event will be held remotely.

You will be sent the links to the events via email no later than 17:30 on 10 February.
It is important that you try to follow the events in the order in which they are scheduled; this will maximise your experience and ensure the evening is as informative as possible.

Next steps
Once you have read all the literature, watched the videos and attended the Options Evening, the students will have until Monday 01 March to complete the Options form with details of their GCSE options preferences. This form is on the last page of the Year 9 Choices Guide. We would recommend that the students do not rush their decision and use all available resources in order to make an informed choice. We ask the students to select 3 preferences and we will endeavour to allocate them 2 out of these 3 preferences.
